African opulence is the glamorous theme for this beautiful wedding broom! Africa is a continent of many natural riches and its people incorporated them creatively into their art and into their fashion. The silver and gold cowry shells found along the coast of Mozambique and Ras Hafun, and the guinea fowl (or "kanga" in Swahili) feathers often used in African celebrations, are combined on this broom with rich tones and patterns of silver and gold. Jump this broom at the close and confirmation of your marriage ceremony and pay homage to our brave, defiant, and resilient ancestors for whom, when they were enslaved and were not allowed by those who enslaved them, to marry, jumping the broom was a secret ceremony signifying marriage. As with all of my broom designs, this broom, measuring 40", is finished on the back as well. Note: Shipping costs will vary depending on your location and whether you request expedited delivery. I will let you know according to your information.
Shipping rates vary dramatically from east to west coasts and from country to country, and also according to the weight and size of a package. The merchandise in my shop varies quite a bit in size and weight. Therefore I have not listed an overall shipping rate for all countries or all items. If you are ordering from outside the USA contact me and I will gladly check on and give you the accurate shipping cost. Also very important: If you live in an apartment complex or a gated community, your package may be delivered to a front desk/reception area or to security or the management office, so be sure to check there if your order hasn't been delivered directly to you by the expected arrival date (I will always tell you what that date is according to the mailing service - usually USPS).
Of course I hope that you will be happy with your purchase. I do my best to create items of the highest quality and I pack them extremely carefully. If there is a problem - ie: damage - when you receive your purchase, you need to send me a detailed email with photos of the piece and the packaging within one week of receiving it before I can issue a refund. Wedding brooms are not returnable for refund after they've been used.
